
Ebernburg - Workshop on Leaf Topics

The Workshop “Leaf Optics” is intended to bring together scientists from all over the world applying in vivo spectroscopy of leaves in different fields and applications of plant sciences.
Applications:
- Remote sensing of vegetation
- Detection of the physiological states of plants
- Penetration of light
Techniques:
- Reflectance, fluorescence and scattering of light in leaves
- Microspectroscopy
- Modelling of light propagation
By restricting the number to a maximum of 25 participants the opportunity for an open and informal exchange of information should be provided. The joint accommodation on the castle of Ebernburg and the pleasant surrounding during the time of vintage provides ideal conditions to make this workshop a success.
